📢 Call for Experts | Sustainable Financing for School Meals – Lao PDR
How can countries build sustainable, predictable financing for school meals – so programmes can scale and endure?
The Sustainable Financing Initiative (SFI) is seeking financing expert(s) and costing expert(s) to support the development of a Sustainable Financing Strategy for the national school meals programme in Lao PDR.
This consultancy will contribute to:
• Costing high-quality school meals programmes
• Supporting the development of the sustainable financing strategy for school meals programme, including estimation of revenue from financing options and identification of financing gap.
The work will be conducted in close collaboration with the Government of Lao PDR, the School Meals Coalition, the World Food Programme country office,and international research partners – combining technical rigour with policy relevance.
📍 Location: Lao PDR (preference for locally based experts)
📅 Duration: Feb–Sept 2026 (up to 35–40 days, depending on role)
